Volunteer coaches: your steadiness can change a family’s whole season.
If you have lived long enough to learn humility—and you’re willing to be trained—we’d love to meet you. LoneStar Support volunteers are not “fixers.” You’re skilled listeners and encouragers who help couples and co-parents find their way back to teamwork.
What we’re looking for
- Experience navigating complex relationships (personally or professionally).
- A commitment to confidentiality, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care.
- Availability for training, supervision, and approximately 3–5 hours monthly.
Training you can trust
Volunteers complete onboarding in coaching ethics, family systems basics, accessibility mindsets, and escalation protocols when families need clinical or crisis resources beyond our scope.
Ready to take the next step?
Tell us about yourself—we’ll follow up with training dates, expectations, and a conversation to ensure the role is a healthy fit for you and the families we serve.
Tip: we’ll wire the button above to your real intake workflow later (email, CRM, or form service).
Your time can be a refuge
Families are waiting for someone who won’t rush them—and won’t disappear. If that’s you, we’d be honored to equip you.
